Back in 1990 the world was shaking with the wind of change, here in Bulgaria our company was born. It started off as a one-man-project, and gradually expanded to its current state of a full-fleshed business organization.
We started off with servicing navigation radars, but nowadays we cover the complete range of communication and navigation equipment, automation and signaling means onboard river- and sea-going vessels. Perfection and customer satisfaction have been the motto of our business from the start. We are always on the forefront of technology developments, and constantly add new products to our portfolio. Our team consists of dedicated sales and service personnel, who are competent and enthusiastic about their job. The technicians of IMT are regularly trained on new products and services, and we keep track of the legislation requirements, so that we can offer our customers the most adequate support.
As we have grown with the years our areas of expertise have also increased. We can provide service and maintenance for all types of communication and navigation devices for all classes of ships, but also land-based infrastructure in support of shipping.
We pride ourselves in our longstanding relations with our customers, which are Bulgarian and international shipowners, shipyards, service companies, government institutions, educational establishments, etc.
Our work onboard ships is approved by the Russian Register of Shipping and our quality management system is certified by DNV GL according to the ISO9001:2015 standard.

We can provide advise on the state administration or register requirements towards onboard equipment, and design complete installations for small and big projects, depending on the customer needs.
Supply and installation
We supply a wide range of communication, navigation, automation and signalling equipment from a selection of world renown producers. We provide full support for all equipment we have delivered, including installation and maintenance.
Service, repair
& maintenance
The service team of IMT is available to respond to our customers needs in a timely and efficient manner. We are ready to travel to all Bulgarian sea and river ports, as well as to ports in the neighboring countries or across Europe.

Training & Education
IMT personnel are regularly trained at the facilities of our suppliers. This guarantees our customers that they get the service of qualified engineers, that are utilizing the latest in contemporary shipboard electronic services.
IMT also extends a hand to young people who are willing to get trained in the field of maritime communication, navigation and automation equipment. We are involved in internship programs to attract young students to the field of ship electronic engineering.
Our laboratory is equipped with specialized testing equipment which allows the precise diagnostics and investigation of the repaired equipment. We also use all the testing and programming utilities necessary for the commissioning of the equipment we deliver.
